Inside Srishti SAFE
Take a walk through the rooms, equipment and people that bring our care together — every space designed for safety, dignity, and the best possible outcome.
Easy to find, simple to step into
Srishti Advanced Fertility and Endoscopy is housed on the second floor of Ashok Hospital in Vidya Nagar, Hubli — a central, accessible location well known across North Karnataka. The clinic signage is visible from the street, and once you're at the building, a lift takes you straight to our floor. Parking and ground-floor access make visits straightforward for patients of every age and condition.
For many couples travelling from Dharwad, Belagavi or further afield, we're a familiar landmark — and we work hard to make every visit feel like coming back somewhere safe.
The entrance to your journey
Step off the lift and you'll see the Srishti name in red, the clinic emblem etched on glass, and a small reception desk to your left. Many of our patients tell us the moment they walk in is the moment they realise this experience is going to be different — calmer, less clinical, and more human than they had imagined.
A simple plaque also displays the State Appropriate Authority certifications for ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) and surrogacy — important credentials for any fertility clinic in India to publicly hold.
The first face you'll meet
Our front-desk team handles every appointment, every phone enquiry and every walk-in with patience. Many of our patients have been with the clinic for years, and the reception remembers names, histories, and family details. New patients are guided through paperwork without rush; returning patients are greeted by name.
If you've ever felt processed by a hospital, you'll notice the difference here within five minutes of stepping in.
Empowering Women
Above the reception desk hangs our official ART registration plaque alongside the brand mark and the words "Empowering Women" — not slogans, but commitments. Srishti Advanced Fertility and Endoscopy is registered under the State Appropriate Authority for ART and Surrogacy, holding the certifications required to offer the full range of assisted reproductive procedures legally and ethically in India.
A small home shrine, lit each morning by our team, reflects the personal care behind every clinical decision. Both elements — the certificate and the lamp — sit side by side, which is exactly how we like to work.
A waiting room, not a queue
Our waiting area is quiet, well lit, and never overcrowded. Soft seating, ceiling fans, on-screen displays, framed certifications, and a small library of fertility and wellness resources keep the space warm but never noisy. Wherever possible, we stagger appointment times so patients aren't sitting longer than they should.
If your consultation runs over (because we never rush ours), the front desk will keep you updated — and offer water, tea, or a private corner if you'd prefer one.
Conversations that aren't rushed
Each consultation room is private, with full-height storage for records, a small desk for face-to-face discussion, and natural light. There is no hurry on our side of the desk — every patient gets the time they need to explain their history, ask questions, and understand what we recommend before signing anything.
Doctors take notes by hand and on the EMR system. Reports are explained twice if you need them to be. Treatment options are spelled out with costs, timelines and realistic chances of success — never with pressure.
Diagnostic clarity, in the same visit
Our ultrasound suite houses a GE Healthcare Versana ultrasound system tied directly into the patient's electronic medical record. This means scans can be reviewed, annotated and explained the same day as your consultation — without a second appointment for results.
Examination tables are designed for dignity and comfort, with proper supports, privacy screens and ample changing space. Whether it's a follicular study, an early pregnancy scan or fetal monitoring in high-risk pregnancy, the equipment matches international standards and the operator is always one of our senior doctors.
The room behind every successful cycle
Our IVF laboratory is the most carefully controlled space in the clinic. HEPA-filtered air, restricted access, dedicated air conditioning, surgical-grade work surfaces and continuous environmental monitoring create stable conditions where eggs, sperm and embryos can be handled at the standard reproductive medicine demands.
Inside, you'll find the Nest IVF biosafety cabinet, a Nikon RI Integro 3™ ICSI workstation, a Thermo Scientific Forma Steri-Cycle i160 CO₂ incubator and a Cooper Surgical Planer Tri-Gas incubator. Together they form the precision environment behind every embryo we have ever transferred.
Where a single sperm meets a single egg
The Nikon RI Integro 3™ workstation is what makes Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) possible. A single sperm is selected, immobilised and injected directly into the egg under high-magnification micromanipulation — a procedure essential for cases involving severe male factor infertility, prior fertilisation failure, or low sperm count.
The work is performed by trained embryologists in a temperature- and humidity-stabilised environment. Every step is monitored, recorded, and reviewed.
The quietest, most important room in the clinic
Behind every successful IVF cycle is an embryologist at a microscope, often for hours at a time, doing work most patients never see. Egg retrieval, sperm preparation, fertilisation checks, embryo grading, ICSI — each step is a precise, patient discipline that demands quiet focus and a steady hand.
Our embryology team trains continuously, follows strict standard operating procedures, and double-witnesses every embryo identification step. The lab is calm because the work demands calm — and the outcomes show it.
The people you'll never meet
You'll never sit across from our embryologists in a consultation room, but they're the people who handle your eggs, your partner's sperm, and your embryos through every critical step of an IVF cycle. They report directly to Dr. Shankar and Dr. Priya, and their work is reviewed daily.
Some of our embryologists have been with the clinic for years. Continuity matters in this work — protocols, witnessed checks, batch handling and quality audits all benefit when the same team has been refining them together over time.
Precision at 37.0 °C, continuously
Our Thermo Scientific Forma Steri-Cycle i160 CO₂ incubator maintains the precise temperature, humidity and CO₂ concentration needed for embryos to develop normally over the 3–5 days between fertilisation and transfer. Door openings are minimised; conditions are logged digitally and reviewed by the embryology team multiple times each day.
Embryos are graded at defined intervals and shared with the parents-to-be ahead of transfer — there are no surprises, and no embryo is moved without the team being satisfied that the conditions justify it.
Embryos and sperm, safely banked
Our cryopreservation suite houses Cryocan liquid nitrogen storage tanks labelled and audited daily for embryo, sperm, and HBsAg-positive sample storage. The Cooper Surgical Planer controlled-rate freezer (BT37) handles the slow-freeze and vitrification protocols modern fertility care requires.
Cryopreservation gives our patients more options: a frozen embryo transfer in a calmer, optimised cycle; sperm preservation before chemotherapy; or simply banking surplus embryos for a future sibling. Every sample is dual-checked, barcoded, and tracked from the moment it enters the tank.
Male fertility, properly evaluated
Right next to the IVF lab, our andrology laboratory handles every aspect of male fertility testing and sperm preparation. A Nest IUI laminar flow hood maintains a sterile field for sperm wash and preparation. A Magnus MLX Plus microscope supports detailed manual semen analysis, and a clinical centrifuge handles density-gradient sperm preparation for both IUI and IVF cycles.
Privacy and dignity are non-negotiable here. Sample collection happens in a private room with discreet access; analysis happens in-house, same-day, by trained andrology technicians under the supervision of our senior doctors.
Automated, WHO-aligned reports
Alongside manual analysis we use an SQA-VU / SQA-iO computerised semen analyser — equipment that follows current WHO laboratory protocols for sperm count, motility, morphology and concentration. Computerised analysis removes operator variability and gives consistent, comparable reports across cycles.
For couples investigating infertility, this matters: a clear, reproducible baseline is the starting point for every treatment plan we recommend.
Every room, clearly labelled
Down the procedure corridor you'll find the IUI Room, the Andrology Lab, the OT Laboratory and the Change Room — each labelled in English and Kannada, each access-controlled, each kept at the temperature and hygiene standards the work demands.
The flow is deliberately designed so a patient never crosses paths with samples in transit, and so the embryology team can move between rooms quickly when timing matters. Small details — like sample-receiving counters with stainless steel surfaces and dedicated bins — keep contamination risk low and turnaround time short.
Instruments, prepared without compromise
Every reusable surgical instrument, andrology tool and ultrasound probe attachment that enters a patient's care path passes through our autoclave first. Pressure-controlled steam sterilisation at validated temperatures removes any risk of cross-contamination — checked, logged and documented for every cycle.
A small thing patients rarely think about, until it matters. We think about it every single day.
Safety-first surgery, every single time
Our modular operation theatre is fully equipped for advanced laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, egg retrieval and other minimally invasive gynecological procedures. Medical-grade oxygen and nitrous-oxide supply, multi-parameter patient monitoring, dedicated overhead surgical lighting and a clean modular ceiling create a safe, controlled environment for every case.
Every surgical case involves a documented pre-anaesthetic check, intra-operative monitoring, and a calm, structured recovery handover. There is no rush in our OT, and there are no shortcuts.
The systems that make safe sleep possible
A modern anaesthesia gas machine, Spectra patient monitor and a Hamilton Thorm air purifier with VOC monitoring sit at the heart of our OT setup. They allow us to deliver general or sedation-level anaesthesia for egg retrieval, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures with continuous tracking of vitals, gas concentrations and air quality.
No drug is administered, no incision made, without these systems being green-lit and a qualified anaesthetist watching every reading.
Rest before you head home
After egg retrieval, embryo transfer or any surgical procedure, our recovery room offers private beds, full-height windows for natural light, and direct nursing oversight. Vitals are monitored continuously until we're confident you're ready to leave, and a family member is welcome to stay with you throughout.
Most patients head home the same day — but the choice is never rushed. If you need extra time, the room is yours.
Your medications, without a second trip
Dhanvantari Medicals, the in-house pharmacy on the ground floor of our building, stocks every fertility, hormonal, antenatal and general medication our patients are likely to need. Fertility injections are temperature-controlled and dispensed by trained staff who understand the protocols. Antenatal supplements, post-procedure medication and lifestyle support products are all available in the same visit.
No running between pharmacies. No confusion about which brand. No skipped doses because something wasn't in stock.
No surprises on the final bill
Our service charges — consultation fees, IUI charges, IVF cycle pricing, scan rates — are posted publicly in the waiting area for every patient to read. Each treatment is also quoted in writing before you begin, with an itemised breakdown of professional fees, lab charges and medication costs.
Fertility treatment is expensive enough without hidden line items. Knowing what you're paying for is part of how we earn your trust.
Everything you've seen runs because of this team
Rooms and equipment are only half the story. Every reception staff member, embryologist, nurse, andrology technician, anaesthetist and consultant in this photo has been carefully selected, trained, and mentored. Some have been with Dr. Shankar and Dr. Priya for over a decade.
When you walk through our doors, you're not visiting a building — you're visiting these people. Read about our doctors in detail, or hear from patients who've already walked this journey with us.
Best to see it for yourself
Photos can show you the rooms — but a single consultation will tell you everything else. Book a visit and walk the clinic in person.
